- Our shift boot covers and handbrake boots are made to be used with your existing leather boot. By keeping your leather boot on, it will give it shape and posture.

- To replace your shift boot leather entirely rather than using this item as a boot cover, we recommend using an adjustable shift boot collar/retainer ring available from other merchants with this item to eliminate shift boot sag. 

- To fully replace your original shift boot with ours, you will first need to remove your shift boot from the center console. Once removed, you'll need to remove the shift boot leather from the plastic retainer/trim that the leather is attached or glued to. After which, you'll then need to make minor incisions or cuts to our boot to fit on to your retainer just as your original boot was. Following these steps, install your new shift boot and finish the rest of the installation of your center console.

NOTICE: If you have a Subaru BRZ/Scion FRS/Toyota GT86, please let us know by adding a note to your order in your cart while checking out. And let us know if it is a Left Hand Drive or Right Hand Drive so that we can make the handbrake boot specifically for it. This is because our universal handbrake boot does not fit on a Subaru BRZ or Scion FRS/GT86.

*Universal fitment (Our shift boots are approximately 8 inches in length from neck to bottom. If needed longer, please take measurements and let us know by also adding a note to your order at checkout. If left blank, the shift boot will come in a universal fitment by default.)
